 Richard Brady & Associates (BRADY) was founded in 1999 as a professional services firm specializing in the design and construction management of water and wastewater facilities. Our many successes have resulted in substantial growth in terms of company size and service offerings.
Having successfully managed many multi-million dollar projects as a construction management firm, the transition to become a general contractor was made with relative ease. With our Construction Management (CM) core competencies in place, we ventured into CM-At Risk and general contracting with the same superlative results. Combined with our substantial capabilities and experience in engineering design, we quickly demonstrated our proficiency in the design/build and performance-based contracting arenas.
In 2005, Richard Brady, PE, our founder and Board-Certified Environmental Engineer, decided to expand his service offerings to include a broader range of environmental solutions. While building on our engineering core, we assembled a team of top-flight environmental and remediation professionals, again, with extraordinary results.
Our team is a multidisciplinary group of highly skilled and motivated professionals with a demonstrated concern for people and the world in which we live.
Incumbent in all of our operations has been our focus on sustainable development, including energy and resource conservation, LEED certification and sustainable design, and expedited closure of contaminated sites. In 2007 we decided to build on this focus to include a new market segment we call “Energy & Sustainable Development,” to better serve the needs of our changing world. In 2008, our efforts at MCAS Miramar resulted in the national Leadership Award under the Department of Energy’s “You Have the Power” program.
In 2010, we acquired Jet Construction, Inc. (JET), a general engineering contractor founded in 1993. The acquisition expanded our geographic reach and construction capabilities within the Southwest United States. Considering JET's track record for providing the military with better, safer projects, JET was certainly a natural fit for us.
